ZERO LIQUID DISCHARGE PLANT

We are a leading Zero Liquid Discharge Plant Manufacturer in India. The definition of Zero Liquid Discharge Plant differs from industry to industry depending upon consumption pattern and the contaminants.

The treatment depends on the intended usage of the recycled water. If the water is to be used for gardening purpose, BOD, COD and suspended solids removal with filtration will suffice. On the other hand if the water is to be used for high pressure boiler or for industrial production processes it’s including pre treatment, Membrane filtration (Ultra filtration & Reverse Osmosis ). The rejection of Membrane filtration will require Mechanical evaporation or mist evaporation is used to further concentrate the brine prior to crystallization. If any organic are present, condensate polishing may be required for final cleanup to reuse.

Zero Liquid Discharge Plant, is an advanced wastewater treatment system designed to ensure that no liquid effluent is discharged outside the plant boundary.

The goal of ZLD is to treat, recycle, and recover 100% of wastewater so that:

  • Clean water is reused in the process
  • Salts and solids are recovered as dry waste
  • No wastewater is released into the environment

  2. Secondary Treatment Biological treatment (like MBBR/MBR) to reduce BOD & COD.
  3. Tertiary + RO Treatment High-quality filtration followed by Reverse Osmosis (RO) for water recovery.
  4. Evaporation System Concentrated RO reject goes to MEE (Multiple Effect Evaporator).
  5. Crystallizer / ATFD Converts the concentrate into dry powder salts.
